Last weekend, I went to a coffee shop to find peace, watching the children play innocently, but there was a man sitting nearby, puffing out smoke as if afraid that no one would know he was using a vape. Another day, despite the shop having a big “No Smoking” sign on the wall, I still saw a man taking out his vape to use, while the person next to him hadn’t even finished his meal. We’re both vapers, and I found it boring to look at.
It is true that vaping does not have an unpleasant smell, and vaping does not affect people's health as much as cigarettes. But who wouldn't feel uncomfortable if other people see a lot of smoke, especially smoke near their children? Those who can stand it can stand it, but I am also a parent, I hate it! When using vaping, avoid places with many children and elderly people, and even in places with only adults, crowded places, when you want to release smoke, bend down or raise your head a little, don't let the smoke go straight to other people, that will reduce a lot of prejudice for people in the community.
In places where there are already “No smoking” signs, don’t bring out vapes. Do we have to wait for people to equip us with “No Vaping” signs? One bad apple is enough to spoil the whole bunch, if one person does it, the whole vaper family will be prejudiced. The story now is not waiting for others to recognize or understand us, but we have to consciously use vapes in a civilized way. Only then can prejudices be limited, and the community will have a correct understanding of vapes and vapers.
In general, if we look forward to the day when we can freely smoke in places with "Vaping Permitted" signs like in foreign countries, we have to get rid of the "worms" first, right?
