Industry Individuals: 10 Notable Names in the Vape World

The vape community is growing and thriving. And many of them are doing their best to bring news, quality products to the community and work on political issues to make the vape industry more prosperous. And the ten names below, are the identities of individuals who stand out and have contributed a lot to the vape community.

10. Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl was one of the first celebrities to bring attention to vaping on the Late Show with David Letterman by using an e-cigarette while on set. In addition to appearing on Letterman, Heigl occasionally gets photographed vaping. Having a celebrity vape will bring a lot of attention and interest to the technology.

9. Azim Chowdhury

Azim Chowdhury, a partner at Keller and Heckman LLP, is an attorney specializing in FDA regulations as they relate to e-cigarettes and vaping. He represents numerous e-cigarette and e-liquid companies in Washington, D.C.

8. Phil Busardo

One of the most prominent personalities on Youtube, Phil Bursado, known as Pbursado on TasteYourJuice.com, boasts over 100,000 subscribers and over 14 million views on his Youtube channel. Busardo is a familiar face at vape shows and vape expos, and the products he showcases are very popular with consumers. Although he initially only featured e-liquids, Bursado has recently expanded his product range, and his previous work as a radio host and DJ gives him a very charismatic aura.

The Greek doctor responsible for much of the recent e-cigarette research, Farsalinos takes a very objective approach to vaping research. Rather than being funded by large companies that need specific studies, Farsalinos’s independent, crowdfunded research has shown both the pros and cons of vaping. He sees great potential in vaping as a smoking cessation therapy for smokers and his scientific research has been published in medical journals worldwide.

Brian Fojtik

Brian Fojtik is the director of public affairs at NJOY, the largest independent e-cigarette company in the US. NJOY is not owned by Big Tobacco, and they are one of the major players in the e-cigarette game. Fojtik has extensive experience in politics and policymaking. Fojtik manages state and local government relations in the eastern part of the US. With so many e-cigarette bills being drafted, Fojtik’s job is to ensure a safe environment for vape shops and e-liquid suppliers.

5. Nick “Grimm” Green

GrimmGreen is a vape promoter, presenter, contributor and fan of Clutch. His Youtube channel has 167,000 subscribers and he is also the admin of GrimmGreen.com.

Bonnie Herzog is a managing director and alcohol and tobacco analyst for Wells Fargo Securities. Her research into the e-cigarette market has helped predict a surge in the industry.

3. Dimitris Agrafiotis

Also known as Vapin Greek, Dimitris Agrafiotis is a vaping advocate, YouTube personality, and CEO of Mountain Oak Vapor. His VapinGreek YouTube channel has over 29,000 subscribers, and Agrafiotis is also the manager of dimisphere.com, a website with numerous product reviews, resources, and more. Agrafiotis travels the world representing vaping and advocating for policies that make sense for the industry.

2. Bill Godshall

Bill Godshall, director of SmokerfreePennsylvania, has been a vocal anti-tobacco advocate for decades. Godshall promotes many harm reduction products and advocates for vaping. He regularly updates vaping news, court cases, and hearings.

1. Gregory Conley

As president of the American Vaping Association, Conley is a tireless vaping advocate. His Facebook followers can see him traveling the world to educate lawmakers about vaping. The American Vaping Association’s Facebook page says “Advocating for small and medium-sized businesses against oppressive regulations and taxes.”
