Choose the right essential oil for your burner

Let’s talk about a dilemma many people face when vaping. An experienced vaper has been using their clearomizer for a while, and they’re looking for something to take their game to the next level.

They’re interested in sub ohm vaping and using a more advanced setup with their favorite bottles of e-juice, so they buy one and start filling it up. But something’s wrong. The thick cloud you’re hoping for isn’t there, the throat hit isn’t satisfying, and the e-juice is leaking. Why? The problem is your e-juice.

If you’re using a simple pod-style vape kit with pre-made e-liquid, that’s fine. Devices like BO or JUUL close-pod e-liquid are already mixed to the correct ratios to work with the device. But with custom-made atomizers, it’s a different story. Not all e-liquids have the same ratios, and some are designed to work with one type of device only.

With a little research, you can get the best experience with your device. And with the guide below, The Vape Club will show you which e-liquids can go with each type of device.

Use PG-rich e-liquids for basic vape kits

This is the most common combination in the vaping world. First, what is a basic vape kit? The best examples are OFRF’s nexMesh and Vapor Storm’s Flame Pod Mod or Ares Pod Mod. PG-rich e-liquids have a higher PG content than VG.

So why do they work together? MTL requires lower power and temperature, and the PG is more liquid, so using this type of device can keep the cotton soaked with the oil, creating a consistent hit of flavor. If the oil is too low in PG and too thick, you will overheat the atomizer because it has to work harder to convert the oil into vapor, resulting in unpleasant dry hits.

There are many e-liquids that have a relatively high PG content and a pleasant taste. Zap! Aisu and Riot Salt are also good options to consider.

Use high VG e-liquid for sub ohm kit

Sub ohm devices, they have a different design than starter kits and usually have a larger body and a larger combustion chamber area.

Sub-1 ohm coils and wattage control systems are what you see on modern mods. What’s the point of these features? To create a stronger throat hit and more vapor. This only happens if you use them with high VG e-liquids.

Sub ohm devices are usually high wattage, the atomizers for these devices also have large air holes and oil holes, using high VG oil can avoid oil leakage and ensure a lot of smoke.

High VG e-liquids like Vape Craft and Dinner Lady have enough flavor and vapor production to satisfy any sub ohm vaper.

Conclude

In short, most starter kits should be paired with high PG e-liquids. E-liquids can easily be absorbed into smaller atomizers, resulting in smoother and more enjoyable vapes. If you want more cloud, stronger hits, or simply want to use a larger coil and larger juice hole, high VG e-liquids are the answer.

Switching from these pairings is a recipe for disaster for the vaper. Using high VG juice in a kit will often result in dry hits and overwork. Using PG juice in a sub ohm kit, and you’ll have a kit that leaks too much and can’t produce much vapor.
